Quote of the Day

After Rick Santorum, the ultra conservative Senator from Pennsylvania chastised Senator Clinton for a paper she had written 30 years ago about how abused children should have more rights (something I still can't see the problem with)

"I mean, read her work and what she's done on children's rights. I mean that's radical," the Republican senator said on ABC's "This Week" yesterday.

"I mean, you're talking about giving children the same - that children have rights equal to adults," Santorum said, referring to an article Clinton wrote more than 30 years ago that argued courts need to give more weight to kid's rights, particularly in abuse cases."

Phil Singer of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee rebutted Santorum, saying

Every time Rick Santorum opens his mouth, he shows that he would have been one of the 13th century's greatest senators.

Such fitting words.

Hil's a radical, GOP pol sez
