That's why you, Rush, should go into court and demand that the judge send you away for the maximum time allowed by law. You should take responsibility like you always claim everyone else should.

Wow, hear that conservitives. Take Rush down from your pedistals and get your priorities in whack and stop listening to him. Rush demands it of you.
I am just waiting for Rush to blame his addiction on liberal media bias and Bill Clinton.

Hi Dingo...just stopped by to visit. Are you sure you're a staunch, staunch moderate? One look at the last round of posts..."Limbaugh Lies", "Noonan the Nut" belies more than just a little left leaning. There's a closet liberal waiting to burst forth!
Drug addiction is an awful problem. Not all addicts are volitional, there are cases fo unknowing addiction to prescribed drugs for pain, etc. I know of a case, personally. A very upright guy who ended up going through hell...
The only point to be made about the Rush Limbaugh quotes are that he was accurate...the addiction produced much damage for him in more than just a few ways.... and that there are times when you are right, but you ought to apply mercy.
I don't say this in respect of whites, Rush Limbaugh.etc. only. I think it is a general way to view the entire problem.

I admit to be a liberal. My ideals are leaning left. I think that the best way is to cooperate and compromise... that is the moderate.
Ilona - I agree that drug addiction is a terrible thing with may horrible consequences. I actually wish Rush the best in being able to kick the habbit and to get healthy. But, he was the one calling for the 'harsh' penalties to people addicted to drugs, not me. I don't believe that the current drug laws are doing what they are intended to do, which is to prevent drug abuse.
