The Reverend Fred Phelps (also briefly blogged on him here and here), the Fundamentalist Christian pastor who hates homosexuals, has gone beyond his usual repulsively to an even lower (or higher, however you want to look at it) level. Phelps and his so called Christian supporters, have picketed the the funeral of two national guardsmen killed in Iraq because he "contends that American soldiers are being killed in Iraq as vengeance from God for protecting a country that harbors gays."

This isn't the first time either.
Somehow these people believe that gays caused the war? There is no reasoning with insanity.
Some of the people at the latest funeral apparently ran them off.
If you get info on Boomr, post it. The news from Gulfport could hardly be worse. I can't even find where I could get information.
There are 50 people confirmed dead in Harrison county alone, and they seem to think the number will go higher.
The Salvation Army usually runs a radio emergency network to locate survivors. I can't find any hotlines set up for MS yet.
Enter his name and address on this form:

I put the info in.
I tried text messageing Boomr, but have not heard back from him yet. It takes up less battery power and easier to get through.
I so hope that they didn't stay in Gulfport. There house can't be any more than 10 feet above sea level as it is.
yes, yes it does. I have not been able to reach any of my firends down there who did not completely evacuate the state.
Fred Phelps.
Five will get you ten he's related to David Duke.
I hate Fred Phelps. I wish he would quit.
