Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania called for NARAL pro-choice to pull its controversial ads off the air that attack Supreme Court nominee John Roberts. From what I have seen of the ads and the premise it is based on, I too have to condemn the ads as being antithetical to a reasoned and respectable debate on the qualifications of Judge Roberts.
This is in no way an endorsement of Roberts by me, but it is not ok to be partisan just for the sake of being partisan. This stuff is almost as bad as the bottom feeding Swift Boat Veterans.
