He Just Doesn't Get It

BUSH - "That‘s kind of a pre-September 10th mentality, the hope that somehow resolutions and failed inspections would make this world a more peaceful place."

Ummm.... we were attacked on September 11th

BUSH - "And, of course, Iraq is a central part in the war on terror. That‘s why Zarqawi and his people are trying to fight us."

Uhhh.... he is fighting us there because we are there and it is easier to kill us there than here. If we were not in Iraq, he wouldn't have the opportunity to behead American citizens and kill our soldiers.

BUSH - "There will be elections in January [in Iraq]. We‘re spending reconstruction money. And our alliance is strong."

Elections can't be held because we can't even enter large sections of the country, of the $18 billion designated for reconstruction purposes, only $1.8 has been used and another $3 billion is being redirected to security issues. And we have had many of our allies pull out of Iraq because of the mess over there.

I'll continue this later...Its Friday evening... its time to go have a beer or somthing... Bush hurts my brain too much.
